A small, fast growing tree , evergreen tree which reaches a height of 5-6m. Great as tagasaste fixes nitrogen in the soil and has an open habit and long slender branchlets. Late autumn, winter, and through to early spring the shrub produces white pea-like flowers and subsequently shiny black seeds with a very hard seed coat.
Great for Food forest planting, shelter belt and a hardy option in dry, free draining soils.

Care information
Roses enjoy a sunny, position and well drained soil. Feed twice a year to encourage stunning blooms and plant health.
We like to use a epson salts spray and feed with a seaweed fertiliser regularly. Prune well to encourage growth.
